2023 Compliance Report

The 2023 compliance reporting period starts on 1 January 2024, and Reporting Entities must submit their Compliance Report by 31 March 2024.

More Detail

All Reporting Entities have obligations under the AML/CTF Act to:

  • submit an accurate compliance report by the due date i.e. 31 March each year; and
  • keep contact details up to date.

If the Compliance Report is not lodged on time, then penalties may be imposed.

If the Reporting Entity is an AFS Licensee and only provided ‘Item 54’ designated services, then it is not required to submit a Compliance Report. Item 54 designated services are where the entity arranges for customers to receive a designated service rather than providing the designated service itself.
